Got to the Shrine center around 4:30 PM and had a very productive Board Meeting. It is the 4th Monday of the month, which means that Za Hur Din Ladies Oriental Shrine meets tonight. The L.O.S. is a female organization dedicated to female associates of Shriners. Although they are an independent organization, they are in tune with the Shriners. They wear very elaborate white fezzes, have their own units, and elaborate rituals.
Well I had received permission from their High Priestess to address the group prior their meeting. I wanted to let them know how appreciative I was to have them meet in our Shrine Center and provided some hopeful colloborative ideas for the year.
Following this brief meeting, I met with the Keystone Kops, Reception Unit and Directors Staff. I am so excited that the members of the Directors Staff are very high on the idea of the Spring Ceremonial in May being conducted in Port Huron.
It is now 9:30 and my bride left the shrine center, after attending the LOS meeting, and I am shutting down and following her.
