Day off from work to attend the Annual Boulevard Shrine Club Divan Roast.
Every year the Boulevard Shrine Club (which meets every Friday at the Shrine Center for lunch) conducts a roast of the new Divan.
This year was no different, with Noble Frank Barrus in the roll of the Roaster, having much fun at our expense. There was also abover average monetary contributions to our Shrine Hospitals, wonderful lunch.
During the evening, Carrie and I, joined by the entire Divan and their ladies joined the Moslem Shrine Yacht Club for their annual Steak Out, at DeCarlo's Banquet Hall in Warren. I would estimate about 150 people in attendance, with great food, fun entertainment (I kissed a ventriloquist's dummy and that is all I will say), and a substantial contribution made to the Shrine Hospitals for Children.
Very nice evening, I was tired, went home and crashed.
