The Supreme Architect was definitely providing light yesterday. The First Annual Shriners Hospitals for Children Charity Golf Outing was held at the TPC - Dearborn. We had 77 golfers on a beautiful day of sun and 70. The Assistant Rabban and myself camped out at the 12th hole the entire day assisting in closest to the pin. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun the participants had, the vast majority of which have never golfed the TPC.
The staff at the TPC were wonderful and very, very helpful. I really believe and am convinced that this event will turn into one of our largest fundraisers for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Thank you to all the Nobles who assisted in the background. Although I am not a golfer, I have to say this course was beautiful. The 12th hole was playing at around 122 yards with a large pond in front of the hole, surrounded by large trees. Just plain pretty.
Well the rest of the week is loaded, what else is new. I have meeting this evening with the entire team for the annual Shriners Holiday (All Units) Party, to lay out the framework for a successful event. Then we leave on Thursday morning to attend the Annual Convention of the Great Lakes Shrine Association in Rockford, IL, which will be a stag event this year.
Here's to a wonderful week.
