Week in Review

How do I describe this week, well, one word: Pleurisy (also known as pleuritis) is an inflammation of the pleura,[1] the lining of the pleural cavity surrounding the lungs. Among other things, infections are the most common cause of pleurisy.

Initially I thought I had bad allergies, which then turned into a sore throat/congestion (cold) and now I am having painful breaths. Tuesday evening was so bad that Carrie wanted to take me to the hospital. I went to se my physician on Wednesday who diagnosed Pleurisy. I never had it and never want to again. He prescribed some strong NSAIDS for the next ten days. Therefore, my activity has been limited a little.

I did attend the Appointee's Party on Wednesday evening, what a success. The appetizers were incredible, large shrimp, delicious hummous, and chicken kabobs.

dinner: Swordfish filet and steak, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I was very pleased at the attendance and thought everyone had a great time. These are the Noble's who have worked really hard this year and every year in order to make the Shrine Shine!!!!!

Well, we are getting ready for Toronto, we leave Saturday July 3 and are finalizing the details (which are basically done). I am also pleased at the contingency going to Toronto, which should exceed 60 Nobles/Ladies. I do not believe we have had such a large contingency in quite some time and cannot wait to see everyone enjoy the Shrine experience.

The weekend will be busy getting ready, but I will take some time to enjoy a very special dinner of King Crab legs on Saturday with some friends. If anything, I am self-prescribing hot drawn butter to assist in my condition.

Be Well and enjoy the weekend.
