I had a very nice meeting with our Chief Rabban and some other nobles this afternoon, which I found insightful and productive. I feel that plans are taking shape and soon implementation of a course of action will be in reach.
Afterwards, my general chairman and myself went to visit our Past Potentate who recently suffered a stroke. He has been relocated to a step down rehabiliation center and is improving very nicely. I truly beleive that the lesson here is that if you feel sick and it is not normal don't wait, seek medical attention. Thank god his wife was a retired nurse and did not hesitate to get him emergency services.
More meetings tomorrow and the weekend is soon upon us.
I also feel so very bad for Armando Gallaraga who really pitched a perfect game this evening for the Tigers. What a disappointing call by the 1st base umpire, a travesty for a young pitcher. I guess we take solace in the great performance and a win for the Tigers.
