Time Flies

I cannot believe it is Friday June 11, 2010. Where has this week gone, let alone the first half of the year.

Carrie and I are driving all over town today in preparations for the Pote's Ball on Saturday, for some last minute errands.

We also had a new addition to our family this past Wednesday. Mays, a beautiful 5 month old black cat, joined Ruth and Cobb as part of the fold. He is so energetic, and we hope he will pass some along to the other two cats. So far he has been well received, with a few minor altercations with Ruth, which is understandible, since she has ruled the roost for so long.

Anyway, the last two days have also been somewhat shrine-free. I have taken care of some personal things, like dr's appt and new brakes on the car. You have to dedicate a portion of your time to your usual vocation in order to maintain a healthy household. I also made dinner for Carrie last night, no big deal just tacos.

Anyway, we both feel excited about the Pote's Ball. When we first attended an event there 3 years ago, we both felt this would be an interesting venue, and I think we will not be disappointed. There are a few surprises in store and we cannot wait.

As for now, enjoy your weekend, and if you are attending we will see you at The Henry Ford.
