It seems that I have lost two postings this week that I know I wrote. You must think that I am getting lazy. Sorry about that.

In summary, Carrie and I made a 300 mile round trip drive on Monday evening to attend the Branch County Shrine Club's Annual Fish Fry. It was a fanatastic evening, great company, good food and awesome desserts (prepared by the neighboring Amish; homemade ice cream).

Tuesday: I had to go to the Shrine Center after work to let the Highlanders in the buildings. It was the first Tuesday this year that the entire building was vacant after normal business hours. Usually we have over close to 1000 people every Tuesday attending a seminar in the commercial end, however they rescheduled to this Thursday.

Wednesday: Not much Shrine related business, just a hair cut and dr's appt.

Thursday: Our New Child Care Director conducted his first meeting with the Hospital Drivers and Garage volunteers. To say it was a little successful is an understatement. He took command of the meeting, was very well organized and well received. I am so excited about the future of how we transport our children to and from the hospitals, our program is in good hands; the hard working, dedicated, unselfish volunteers of our organization, thank you, thank you, thank you.


This weekend is pretty mild. The Dreamcruise is goin on and Carrie and I were invited to an annual party by some friends, and hoping the weather cooperates. I also need to get some exterior house chores accomplished. Besides all that, it will be the wife and I enjoying the summer heat.
